Programmes
The Partner Identification Form, programme by programme.
A Partner Identification Form, also called a Partner Information Form, presents your organisation to a consortium. The core is the same everywhere. What changes between programmes is who reads it, what they look for, and how much room you have to say it.
Programmes
One PIF does not fit every programme.
What every PIF must carry
Legal data
Legal name, OID, PIC, address and VAT number, exactly as they appear in the EU registers.
Mission and activities
What the organisation exists to do and what it actually does, in terms a stranger can picture.
Staff and expertise
Who works there, how many, and the expertise that matters for this project.
Previous EU projects
Programme, role, years and a line on the result, kept current after every project.
Target groups
Who the organisation reaches, and how many of them.
Role in the proposed project
What this organisation will contribute to this specific consortium and work plan.

Programmes and organisations
Which programmes does MyPIF support?
Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Creative Europe, CERV, European Solidarity Corps, LIFE, Digital Europe and Interreg, or no programme at all. On Pro you choose the programme when you generate the PIF; on Free the PIF uses one general layout. Templates for the Erasmus+ actions KA1, KA210 and KA220 are in development. The document is not limited to EU programmes, either. If a consortium anywhere asks you for a partner identification form, MyPIF produces it.
Who needs a PIF?
Every partner in every consortium. An Erasmus+ small-scale partnership needs at least 2 organisations and a cooperation partnership at least 3, with no upper limit, and the average funded Horizon Europe collaborative project has 12 participants. Each partner sends a PIF to the coordinator. If your organisation joins projects as a partner, you will be asked for one before every application, and a weak PIF can cost you the place in the consortium.
Which organisations is MyPIF for?
Any organisation that takes part in EU-funded projects, whether it leads the project or joins it as a partner: associations and NGOs, schools, universities, vocational and adult training centres, youth organisations, companies and SMEs, local authorities, research centres and cultural organisations. It is made for small teams without a project office, who send a few PIFs a year and need each one current. Consultancies that prepare PIFs for many client organisations have the Business plan.
