About

Made in Fundão by people who run EU projects.

MyPIF is made by Aeternus Progressus, a small company in Fundão, Portugal. We build it so that the PIF a coordinator opens is the current one, not the third attachment in a thread.

Why we built MyPIF

The same details, sent again and again.

Every application asks each partner for the same facts about itself, and the file that carries them is out of date the day after it is sent. These are the official figures that made us build one link instead of another attachment.

  • 85,600+

Organisations took part in the Erasmus+ projects supported in 2024

European Commission, Erasmus+ annual report 2024

  • 5

Proposals the average Horizon Europe applicant took part in between 2021 and 2023: the same organisation, the same details, five times over

European Commission, Horizon Europe key figures, May 2024

  • 12

Participants in the average funded Horizon Europe collaborative project: a coordinator collecting the forms of eleven partners

European Commission, Horizon Europe key data, May 2023

  • 21.6%

Average application success rate in Horizon Europe: about four applications in five are for a proposal that is not funded

European Commission, Horizon Europe key figures, May 2024

  • 68,167

Eligible proposals Horizon Europe received in its first three years; every collaborative one needed each partner's details

European Commission, Horizon Europe key figures, May 2024

All four figures are published by the European Commission, in the Horizon Europe key figures for 2021 to 2023 and the key data for 2021 to 2022. None of these are MyPIF user numbers.

In the words of the people who tried it.

  • I like it that you use this link and you can improve, you can update all the time and you just click the link as let's say as a lead partner. You just take it from there the new information.

  • So, in the end, I'm the one who gives permission for people to see the PIF.

    Portugal

  • What we have is always the PIF in Word and the PIF in PDF. Often it even goes out to partners as a PDF. Any updates that need doing, we do them there quickly, update it and send it off.

  • But look, since I've been doing this for so many years, I'm used to seeing it that way. But that doesn't mean this way isn't better, because there are a lot of new people coming into this now, starting to write these, and they aren't used to that old model the way I am, are they?

  • I mean address and phone number, it was from the legal representative and contact person. So same information which is wrong. I have to call him to give me again another email address, another phone number because otherwise I cannot pass through the steps.

  • Yes, I can recommend it. It's nice. It's nice. I will recommend it. Definitely.

How we work

Plain facts, and their sources.

  • We cite sources

Every figure on this site names where it comes from, and our guides give the page of the official document behind each rule.

  • No invented numbers

No countdowns, ratings or user counts we cannot show. The quotes on this site come from two validation interviews, used with consent.

  • Independent

MyPIF is not affiliated with or endorsed by the European Commission, EACEA or any National Agency.

  • Honest limits

Uploads are PDF only for now, and we are a small team. We say what the app does today and keep what is being built apart.
